دور الطفل في مواجهة الفقر

شارك طلاب الصف الثامن الأساسي في كلية خالد بن الوليد- الحرج- في ملتقى الأطفال الأول حول "دور الطفل في مواجهة الفقر" الذي نظمته مؤسسات الرعاية الاجتماعية في لبنان - دار الأيتام الإسلامية وذلك يوم السبت 5 أيار 2012 في فندق الشيراتون من الساعة التاسعة  صباحاً إلى الساعة الثانية والنصف من بعد الظهر.

وقد شهد الحضور لمشاركات طلابنا المميزة وأسلوبهم في المناقشة وعرضهم للمعلومات. نحن فخورون بكم يا: نور الكردي- رشا حوري- سجى جاركجي- محمد نحلاوي- محمد الكبي- عمر نجا.

Makassed Khaled Bin Al-Walid Horj College students are about to go to a magical adventure...learning and having fun at the same time! Their trip has just begun!

Ming the Mini Bus is a collaborative project with partners from USA, United Kingdom, France, Australia,  New Zealand, Canada, Malaysia, Russia, Japan, China, Indonesia, Taiwan, Reunion Island, Kenya, Nigeria, Slovenia, Romania, Latvia, and El- Salvador.

In "Ming the Mini Bus" project, students use a template to make "MING".They will send digital photos of Ming with an interesting person. Each student writes a mini- biography of the person of interest. At the end of the project, photos and bios will be put into a digital book that will then be sent to the schools involved in this project.

ePals-Smithsonian Invention Challenge

Malek Mneimneh, a young scientist at Makassed KBWH College

January 17th is a very special day for young inventors... 500,000 children and teens invent gadgets and games each year. Malek Mneimneh, a third grader at Makassed Khaled Bin Al-Walid Al-Horj College shared his invention with the world. 

The purpose of this invention:  to move a car by air force resembles the effect of air on moving objects. It can be a substitute for fuel to reduce pollution. Watch Malek's fantastic video:
